Safe use of the Internet guidelines

  • Do not share personal information such as your full name, address, phone number, or financial information online.
  • Be cautious when clicking on links or downloading files from unknown sources, as they may contain malware or viruses.
  • Use strong, unique passwords for all of your online accounts and change them regularly.
  • Be aware of phishing scams, which are attempts to trick you into giving away personal information or login credentials.
  • Do not engage in cyberbullying or engage in any other online behavior that is meant to harm or harass others.
  • Always respect others' privacy, and do not share personal information about them without their consent.
  • Familiarize yourself with the privacy settings and security features of all websites, apps, and devices that you use.
  • Be aware of the security settings on your computer, mobile device, and network, and make sure that they are properly configured to protect your personal information.
  • Be mindful of the content you share online, and consider how it may be perceived by others.
  • Lastly, be responsible when using the internet, and report any suspicious or illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

Activities in the platform are defined by your access point. This is categorized by day shift, back shift, night shift or on your own time. If you are on your own time these hours will not count to your Apprenticeship.

You will be prompted at the header of each course to select you inbound activity from the above options
